Fran Dunphy Achieves 600th Career Win as La Salle's Coach

Fran Dunphy, the coach of La Salle's men's basketball team, has achieved his 600th career win with an 81-62 victory over Coppin State.
Dunphy, 75, is the 43rd NCAA Division I coach to win 600 games, with 310 wins at Penn from 1989 to 2006, 270 at Temple from 2006 to 2019, and 20 at La Salle.
Dunphy was coaxed out of retirement last season to lead La Salle, where he served as co-captain and helped the Explorers to a 23-1 record in 1969.
Dunphy's next game will be a significant one as it will be his first trip back to Temple as La Salle's coach, where he spent 13 seasons.
