Fraggle Rock: A Space-y Adventure Debuts Dec. 22 at Kennedy Space Center

The Jim Henson collaboration uses live puppetry to introduce young visitors to NASA explorers.

Overview

  • The family musical will run twice daily at 12:30 p.m. and 1:45 p.m. in the 300-seat Universe Theater and is included with admission.
  • John Tartaglia serves as writer, director, and choreographer, building on his role as the voice of Gobo in the Apple TV+ series.
  • Walkaround Fraggles including Gobo, Red, and Uncle Travelling Matt appear alongside Doozer puppets created by Jim Henson’s Creature Shop.
  • The show’s storyline features encounters with an Exploration Ground Systems team member, an introduction to Artemis missions, and a conversation with an astronaut aboard the International Space Station.
  • A character breakfast tied to the production is scheduled for Dec. 21–30, excluding Dec. 25, during the Holidays in Space event.
