  • Information technology shares saw $2.3 billion in outflows in July, the highest withdrawal since March 2022 following weak quarterly results and softer deal wins.
  • Financial services, real estate, automobiles and oil & gas sectors also recorded notable FPI outflows, with financial services drawing out $671 million.
  • Domestic mutual funds remained net buyers, providing crucial liquidity even as FPIs continued to sell listed shares.
