Fox Factory Debuts Wrangler Commando, a V8 Wrangler Limited to Veterans With One Auctioned for Charity

Buyers get a dealer-serviced, warranty-backed route to a V8 Wrangler outside Jeep’s official lineup.

Overview

  • The 250-unit Wrangler Commando launches on Veterans Day as a tribute tied to the 250th anniversaries of the U.S. Army and Marine Corps.
  • Base price is $69,995, with an optional Whipple supercharger boosting output to 705 hp and available MagnaFlow exhaust and a WARN 12,000-lb winch.
  • Fox restricts sales of 249 vehicles to active-duty service members and veterans, with one example to be auctioned to the public in May to support troops; The Drive reports the proceeds will go to the USO.

  • The aftermarket build is sold through Jeep dealers with a 3-year/36,000-mile bumper-to-bumper and 5-year/60,000-mile powertrain warranty, with a public display planned at the Los Angeles Auto Show and applications open on Fox’s site.
