Fox Acquires Red Seat Ventures to Expand Digital Media Presence

Fox Corp. has purchased Red Seat Ventures, a digital media company specializing in podcast production and ad services for prominent conservative personalities.
Red Seat Ventures will operate as a standalone entity under Fox’s Tubi Media Group, led by Tubi CEO Paul Cheesbrough, who will also serve as Red Seat's chairman.
The acquisition allows Fox to expand its reach in the creator economy, with plans to scale content in sports, news, and entertainment genres.
Red Seat’s clients include former Fox News stars Tucker Carlson, Megyn Kelly, and Bill O’Reilly, though these creators remain independent and retain ownership of their content.
The deal reflects Fox’s broader strategy to grow its digital and streaming businesses, complementing its existing focus on live sports, news, and free ad-supported streaming via Tubi.
