Fourth Victim Dies Following July 4th Drunk Driving Incident in NYC

Emily Ruiz, 30, succumbed to her injuries five days after the Lower East Side crash, raising the death toll to four.

Daniel Hyden, 44, has been charged with multiple counts including vehicular homicide and driving under the influence.
Hyden allegedly drove his pickup truck into a crowd at Corlears Hook Park, injuring nine people in total.
Other victims include Lucille Pinkney, 59, her son Herman Pinkney, 38, and Ana Morel, 43.
Hyden, a substance abuse counselor, was driving with a suspended license and has a history of DWI arrests.
He is currently being held without bail and in protective custody.
