- Officers responded around 9 p.m. Monday to a robbery on Ventura Boulevard in Woodland Hills, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
- Victim Ali Sedaghat, a downtown Los Angeles jewelry store owner, said he left a restaurant, noticed a flat tire, and pulled over a short distance away.
- Two to three masked assailants, at least one wielding a knife, took a bag containing jewelry valued at more than $200,000.
- Sedaghat believes he was followed and that his tire was intentionally slashed while he was at dinner.
- LAPD says this is the fourth recent follow-home robbery targeting jewelers and is gathering security footage to identify suspects who drove off in an older dark or black minivan.
