Overview

• Police were called about 12.15am to a Sunny Place home in St Johns Park after a group of men forced entry.
• Two men, 21 and 29, and two women, 27 and 56, were tied up with their mouths taped, according to police and local media.
• The 21-year-old man was punched in the face and he and the 56-year-old woman were taken to Liverpool Hospital, with no serious injuries reported for the other two occupants.
• Cash, jewellery and an expensive watch collection were stolen, with one report estimating losses of up to $100,000.
• The intruders fled in white vehicles seen on security footage, one assailant was reportedly dressed as a police officer, and investigators have established a crime scene and urged information to Crime Stoppers.
