Thomas decommitted from South Carolina and recommitted to Florida State on Nov. 20 after another visit to Tallahassee, marking his second stint in FSU’s class.
He is ranked the No. 17 running back and No. 203 overall by Rivals, No. 28 at the position by the Rivals Industry, and No. 24 RB and No. 358 overall in the 247Sports Composite.
As a senior, he has 1,496 rushing yards and 17 touchdowns on 89 carries, plus 5 receptions for 168 yards and 2 scores, with more than 4,500 total yards and 75 touchdowns in his high school career.
His pledge is the first running back in Florida State’s 2026 haul, which now lists 28 verbal commitments and sits No. 14 nationally.
He has cited support from his hometown and family and an academic fit as reasons for choosing Florida State.
