Four-star Miami Dade Defensive Lineman Commits to Hurricanes

Daylen Russell, a highly touted defensive lineman from Columbus High School, committed to the University of Miami.
Russell led Columbus to the 2023 Class 4M state championship with impressive statistics.
He chose Miami over offers from Louisville, Nebraska and other schools.
Russell is the first defensive lineman to commit to Miami's 2024 recruiting class.
He is the fourth player from South Florida to commit to Miami's 2024 class, joining three other high school recruits from the region.
