- Residents in four North West postcodes each received £1,000 per ticket in the daily draw, a result announced in the July 24 round of Postcode Lottery winners.
- The winning North West postcodes cover King Street in Sandbach (CW11 3BS), Heatherways in Tarporley (CW6 0HP), Ashworth Close in Bowdon, Altrincham (WA14 3AG), and Hunters Hill in Kingsley near Frodsham (WA6 8DE).
- The Postcode Lottery selects 20 postcodes every day so every valid ticket in a chosen postcode wins £1,000 and players are entered automatically after choosing a postcode.
- The scheme also runs larger weekly and monthly draws, and recently produced a six-figure Millionaire Street prize shared by three neighbours including winner Rebecca Andrews.
- Playing costs £12.50 a month and the operator says at least 33% of ticket sales go to charities, with players having helped raise more than £1.7 billion for good causes to date.
