Four Neo-Nazi Cult Members Charged with Global Child Exploitation Crimes
The group, known as CVLT, coerced vulnerable minors into creating abusive content through grooming, blackmail, and threats, targeting at least 16 children worldwide.
- The U.S. Department of Justice has indicted four members of the neo-Nazi group CVLT on charges of engaging in a child exploitation enterprise, involving the abuse of at least 16 minors globally, including two in Southern California.
- The accused, aged between 23 and 41, used online platforms to groom vulnerable children, targeting those with mental health challenges or histories of sexual abuse, to produce child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and images of self-harm.
- Victims were coerced into dehumanizing acts such as cutting themselves, drinking urine, and carving CVLT members' names into their skin, with some pressured to livestream suicide attempts.
- When minors resisted or threatened to report the abuse, CVLT members used blackmail, threatening to release compromising images or videos to victims' families and friends, and in some cases, followed through on these threats.
- Two suspects were arrested on January 30, 2025, while the other two are already in custody for prior offenses, including a 50-year sentence for child sex abuse and charges in France. If convicted, all face 20 years to life in prison.
