Four Missing After Record Rainfall Causes Severe Flooding in Nova Scotia

Intense thunderstorms brought record-breaking rainfall of over 200mm in 24 hours in parts of Nova Scotia.
Widespread flooding was reported, with damaged infrastructure, abandoned vehicles, and flooded roads.
At least four people are reported missing after their vehicles were submerged in floodwaters.
Evacuations were ordered near a dam at risk of breaching, now reported to be under control.
The extreme rainfall and flooding events are being linked to climate change by officials.
