Four Met Police Officers Investigated After Double Murder by Known Predator

Officers under scrutiny for handling complaints against Carl Cooper, who killed two women after repeated warnings.

Carl Cooper, 66, was jailed for life in July for the murders of Naomi Hunte and Fiona Holm.
Both victims had reported Cooper's violent behavior to the police prior to their deaths.
Four officers are being investigated for misconduct related to a 2023 assault complaint by Ms. Holm.
A review found that a more thorough investigation could have led to stronger evidence against Cooper.
The Met Police have apologized for their failures and continue to search for Ms. Holm's body.
