Overview
- Daniel Guzman, Nelson Rojas, Pablo Rogas-Romero and Victor Alfredo Higuchi Campos each received five years and seven months at Kingston Crown Court after guilty pleas to conspiracy to commit burglary.
- Between December 17, 2024 and January 7, 2025 the group targeted 13 homes across Cambridge, Elmbridge, Runnymede, London and Milton Keynes, stealing jewellery, sentimental items and £54,659 in cash plus foreign currency.
- Bedfordshire Police arrested the men on January 17 in a rented black Mercedes-Benz, where stolen jewellery was found, and further stolen items were recovered from suitcases at a Luton Airbnb.
- Investigators linked movements using communications data and CCTV showing both the Mercedes and a silver Vauxhall, with specialist kit recovered including a signal jammer and a portable diamond and gem tester.
- Police say roughly half of the stolen property has been returned to owners, crediting coordinated work by Surrey, Sussex, Cambridgeshire, Thames Valley and the Metropolitan Police.
