Overview
- Security forces launched the operation on August 25 with about 20 C-60 commando teams and two CRPF Quick Action Teams led by Additional SP (Operations) M. Ramesh.
 - An intermittent exchange of fire lasting nearly eight hours left three women and one man dead, with teams moving in despite heavy rain in the Bhamragad region.
 - Troops recovered an SLR, two INSAS rifles and a .303 rifle, along with 92 live rounds, three walkie-talkies, Maoist literature and other items from the site.
