Four Las Vegas High School Students Charged with Second-Degree Murder in Classmate's Beating Death

- The fight, which took place near Rancho High School on November 1, broke out over a set of headphones and a vape pen that were allegedly stolen from the victim or his friends.
- The incident was caught on video and shared on social media, showing as many as 10 students swarming Lewis, who was then kicked, punched, and stomped on after being pulled to the ground.
- Lewis died six days later from 'non-survivable head trauma', with a post-mortem examination determining his death a homicide by blunt-force trauma.
- Nine students in total have been arrested so far, with the first four to be charged being tried as adults under Nevada law. The remaining students, who are all under the age of 16, are awaiting separate court hearings.
