Four IDF Soldiers Killed in Gaza Explosion
An explosion in the southern Gaza Strip on Tuesday resulted in the deaths of four Israeli soldiers, including a paramedic and three members of the Givati Brigade.
- The explosion occurred in Tel al-Sultan, causing a building collapse and killing Capt. Daniel Mimon Toaff, Staff Sgt. Agam Naim, Staff Sgt. Amit Bakri, and Staff Sgt. Dotan Shimon.
- Capt. Daniel Mimon Toaff, 23, was a Givati Brigade officer who had been in Gaza since the beginning of the war and had recently taken over as deputy commander of his platoon.
- Staff Sgt. Agam Naim, 20, was the first female soldier killed in Gaza during this conflict, serving as a paramedic in the 52nd Battalion.
- Staff Sgt. Amit Bakri and Staff Sgt. Dotan Shimon, both 21, were also part of the Givati Brigade's Shaked Battalion and had returned to combat after previous injuries.
- The incident also left three soldiers seriously wounded and two moderately injured, with another officer severely wounded in a separate incident in southern Gaza.
