BRAUNAU AM INN, AUSTRIA - 2017/08/30: In front of Hitlers birthplace there is a stone from a stone-quarry in Mauthausen concentration camp where prisoners had to work. "For peace, freedom and democracy. Never more fascism. Millions of dead warn." is written on it.
In a simple yellow house in Salzburger Vorstadt 15, Braunau am Inn, where his parents rented a small flat, Adolf Hitler was born on April 20th 1889. He later became the worst criminal in the history. In his birthplace in the Austrian town Braunau am Inn they try to forget him. They want to avoid the neo-nazi to make a pilgrimage site from this place. That´s why the state expropriated the building from the owner, Gerlinde Pommer - Angloher, last year, and plan to rebuild it and use it for charitative purposes.
