Overview

• Police report the Oct. 8 morning collision at km 1064 in Cocachacra, Islay, where a Costanera Buss Perú minivan (VAN-966) rear-ended a cistern truck (BRK-818, trailer VAU-984) that was stopped at the road’s edge.
• Three men and one woman, including the minivan driver, died at the scene, and six other passengers were taken first to the Cocachacra health center and then referred to hospitals in Arequipa and Mollendo.
