Overview

• Lancashire Police charged four people on October 3 and said they are due at Lancaster Magistrates' Court on October 31.
• The defendants are Rebecca Hatch, 43, Glenn Hatch, 50, Alexander Tofton, 32, and Steven Stephenson, 36.
• All four face counts of conspiring to fraudulently evade the prohibition on exportation of a class A drug during November 21 to December 4, 2024.
• Stephenson faces an additional charge of being concerned in the supply of cocaine.
• The case follows the December 2024 death of 20-year-old Jensen Westhead in Dubai after he reportedly ingested cocaine packages in the UK before flying from Manchester.
