- Atwood is recognized for a revised bilingual edition of Too Much Time / Trop de Peines, drawn from a decade documenting women in prisons across nine countries.
- Gęsicka is shortlisted for Encyclopaedia, a 2024 photobook reimagining fake reference entries through manipulated stock images and AI to probe visual truth.
- Mahmoodian’s One Hundred and Twenty Minutes, shown at the 2024 Bristol Photo Festival, and Matić’s AS OPPOSED TO THE TRUTH at CCA Berlin highlight displacement and contemporary British life.
- The Photographers’ Gallery will present the shortlist from 6 March to 7 June 2026, followed by the Deutsche Börse Photography Foundation in Frankfurt from 3 September 2026 to 17 January 2027; the winner receives £30,000 and each finalist £5,000.
