Overview

• Officers were called to The Oaklands pub on Oaklands Avenue at around 6pm on June 15 following reports of men carrying knives, but no one was hurt there.
• At approximately 11:45pm the same day a 21-year-old man was found with fatal stab wounds on Stenson Road in Littleover and was pronounced dead at the scene.
• Four people were arrested in connection with the stabbing and have since been released on bail as detectives continue their inquiries.
• A police cordon remains in place on Stenson Road, closing the street to vehicles and leaving residents to exit the area on foot.
• Detectives are urging anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage from the Oaklands Avenue area on June 15 to contact Derbyshire Constabulary quoting reference 25*347862.
