Four Arrested in Assault on Former NY Governor David Paterson

Two NYC Housing Authority employees and two juveniles face charges after an attack on Paterson and his stepson in Manhattan.

Former Governor David Paterson and his stepson, Anthony Sliwa, were attacked on the Upper East Side while walking their dog.
The altercation began after Sliwa confronted juveniles climbing a fire escape, leading to a physical confrontation later that evening.
Two NYC Housing Authority employees, Travor Nurse and Diamond Minter, were arrested and charged with gang assault.
Two juveniles, aged 12 and 13, also turned themselves in and were charged in connection with the attack.
Paterson and Sliwa sustained minor injuries and were treated at a local hospital before being released.
