  • Four separate robberies took place within a 30-minute span near Lake View between 11:30 p.m. and midnight on June 9.
  • Two armed men targeted pedestrians in the 3400 block of North Broadway, 2800 block of North Pine Grove Avenue, 700 block of West Roscoe Street and 2300 block of North Sheffield Avenue.
  • Each pair of suspects displayed firearms and forced victims to hand over personal items before fleeing in a white SUV.
  • Victims aged 20 to 47 complied with demands and none sustained injuries during the incidents.
  • Detectives are reviewing surveillance footage and witness statements to determine if the series of robberies is connected.
