Founders of Steve Bannon's Border Wall Fundraiser Sentenced to Prison for Fraud

Brian Kolfage and Andrew Badolato were sentenced to over four years and three years in prison respectively for stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars from donors to the "We Build the Wall" campaign.
The campaign raised $25 million to help construct Trump's border wall but Kolfage and Badolato used the money for personal expenses like boat payments and jewelry.
A third associate, Tim Shea, will be sentenced in June for his role in the fraud.
Steve Bannon was pardoned by Trump for the federal charges against him in the scheme.
The judge called the fraud "no ordinary financial fraud" and said it could undermine public trust in political fundraising.
