Foundation Stone Laid for Centralized Heidekreis-Klinikum in Germany

The new hospital in Bad Fallingbostel will consolidate facilities in Soltau and Walsrode, with completion planned for late 2028.

The Heidekreis-Klinikum project officially began with a foundation stone ceremony on March 19, 2025.
The new hospital will centralize healthcare services currently provided by facilities in Soltau and Walsrode.
Located on a 45,000 square meter site, the hospital will feature 345 beds and modern infrastructure.
The project is supported by 222 million euros in state and federal funding, with total costs estimated at 278 million euros.
State Secretary Christine Arbogast and local officials attended the ceremony, highlighting its importance to the region.
