Overview
- Union minister of state Harsh Malhotra laid the foundation stone at Apparel House in Sector 44, Gurugram, in a ceremony attended by local officials.
- The package adds four flyovers at Pachgaon Chowk, Rathiwas, near Hero Company in Dharuhera, and Sahalawas to ease chronic bottlenecks.
- Nine foot overbridges with ramps and dedicated lighting are planned to improve accessibility and night-time safety along the Gurgaon–Kotputli–Jaipur stretch.
- Scope includes upgradation of 58.8 km of corridor, 2.26 km of service roads, 7.2 km of PQC surfacing, and strengthening of 30.95 km of roadway.
- Drainage, safety and environmental works feature 18.05 km of new RCC drains, 40.64 km of covered open drains, 32 entry/exit points, 2,475 signs, 800 delineators, 29,613 road studs, 34 impact attenuators, three high-mast lights, 15,000 trees, and rainwater harvesting every 500 metres.
