Overview

  • Fortnite servers went offline late August 6 in a scheduled maintenance to deploy the v37.00 update, a build warned by @FortniteStatus as larger than usual and expected to last 2–6 hours.
  • Chapter 6 Season 4, titled “Shock ’N Awesome,” continues the narrative with a bug invasion spawned by the Season 3 finale.
  • Crossovers include unlockable Halo Spartan skins free at rank 100 and six Power Ranger variants with the Megazord teased for later in the season.
  • The updated Battle Pass brings new outfits, fresh weapons such as the airstrike gun and triple-barrel Gatling gun, map changes and enhanced movement items.
  • Servers are expected back online between 3–8 AM PDT (6–11 AM EDT), with rollout extending to Europe midday and to Asia by evening.
