The in-game voting experience is hosted by a virtual MetaHuman version of Geoff Keighley, created using Epic Games' scanning technology.
The Game Awards hub in Fortnite includes access to 10 nominated creator-made islands for players to explore before casting their vote.
Voting is open until December 11 at 6 PM PT, with the winner to be announced during The Game Awards on December 12.
