Fortnite OG Mode Revives Original Map and Gameplay Permanently

Epic Games has reintroduced the original Fortnite map and gameplay from 2017 as a permanent mode, with nostalgic features and seasonal updates planned.

Fortnite OG launched on December 6, 2024, bringing back the original Chapter 1 Season 1 map, loot pool, and gameplay from the game's 2017 debut.
The mode, now permanent, allows players to experience classic points of interest like Dusty Depot, Greasy Grove, and Wailing Woods, alongside original weapons and traps.
Over 1 million players joined Fortnite OG within 20 minutes of its release, with concurrent player numbers exceeding previous records for the game.
Epic Games confirmed that Fortnite OG will rotate through all 10 seasons of Chapter 1 on an accelerated schedule, with Chapter 1 Season 2 starting January 31, 2025.
The Fortnite OG Pass offers 45 tiers of retro-themed rewards, including revamped classic skins, and will remain available until January 31, 2025.
