- The Festival features two modes: Main Stage, which mimics Rock Band's mechanics, and Jam Stage, which allows for music track experimentation and creation of unique mashups.
- Songs can be purchased or unlocked via the Festival Season Pass, with featured free Jam Tracks that rotate. The gameplay resembles Rock Band or 'Guitar Hero', requiring precise note hits to build a star meter.
- The Festival Pass costs 1800 V-Bucks and features a skin of The Weeknd, whose songs are available in the experience, various instruments and cosmetics, and more.
- Epic Games has confirmed plans to prioritize the inclusion of instrument controller support in the future, which is currently under development.
