Overview

• At about 12:30 a.m. Sunday, a dispute at a North Houston Street house party led to gunfire that killed 19-year-old Anthony Rangel and wounded two guests.
• Police treated five shootings over roughly 20 hours across the city’s north, west, east and south sides as unconnected incidents that left five people dead.
• Marquavius Hunt, 17, was booked on suspicion of capital murder in the Asheville Lane double homicide where two victims were fatally shot.
• Jonathan Martinez, 24, has been charged with murder after a man was found shot to death in the 3000 block of Conejos Drive.
• Fort Worth detectives continue to hunt for additional suspects and are urging anyone with information to contact the homicide unit.
