Formula E Sets New Indoor Land Speed Record With Modified Gen3 Car

British Formula E driver Jake Hughes set a new indoor land speed record of 135.9 mph in a modified Gen3 race car at London's ExCeL Centre.
Hughes piloted the "GenBeta" car, beating the previous 102.65 mph record set by Porsche driver Leh Keen in 2021.
The GenBeta car features increased power output, all-wheel drive, and softer tires for improved performance.
Hughes completed the quarter-mile run on a straightaway track, accelerating from 25 mph to the record 135.9 mph.
Formula E demonstrated the performance potential of electric racing cars with this record attempt during their season finale event in London.
