German has reportedly received offers from two teams, but no deal is imminent. The teams in talks with German include the Blue Jays, Orioles, and Mets.
German's off-field issues also include a suspension for violating the league's domestic violence policy and a suspension for using a sticky substance during a game.
Despite his off-field issues, German has shown promise on the field, including pitching a perfect game against the Athletics in June 2023.
