Overview

  • Luke O’Neill filed Federal Court action against Wiggles Holdings, Anthony Field and general counsel Matthew Salgo, seeking unpaid bonuses and alleging breaches of the Fair Work Act.
  • Court documents say Field questioned O’Neill’s competence in a February staff meeting, reduced his responsibilities and excluded him from an April meeting with Kmart.
  • O’Neill alleges unapproved hiring of relatives and associates and a special bonus plan for a friend and his daughter’s boyfriend, which he says drove budget overruns.
  • He says he was terminated on 28 May 2025 and later received a gross bonus payment of $86,266 in July that he contends fell short of his contractual entitlement.
  • Filings cite a revenue resurgence from about $2 million in FY23 to a forecast $6.5–$7 million in FY25, which O’Neill says supported his performance and bonus eligibility.
