Former Washington State QB Cameron Ward Declares for 2024 NFL Draft

Despite Interest from Miami and Florida State, Ward Opts for Professional Career

Cameron Ward, former Washington State quarterback, has announced his intention to enter the 2024 NFL Draft.
Ward, who was one of the most sought-after quarterbacks in the transfer portal, was being pursued by several schools, most notably Miami and Florida State.
Despite the interest from these universities, Ward has decided to focus on a professional career and will start training for the draft.
Ward will not immediately sign with an agent, leaving open the option to change his mind and return to college for his senior year. The deadline for his final decision is January 15.
In the 2023 season, Ward tallied 3,735 passing yards, 25 touchdowns and seven interceptions, ranking 8th nationally in passing yards.
