Shapeshifter Games, a new studio formed by former Volition developers, is positioning itself as a co-development studio to assist other studios with AAA game development.
The studio is led by Rob Loftus, the principal producer on Saints Row, and Brian Traficante, the creative director at Volition for a decade.
Shapeshifter Games is already working with a top publisher on their next great IP and is looking to grow.
Volition was shut down by Embracer Group in August 2023 as part of a wide-ranging restructuring program.
Shapeshifter Games is based in Illinois and is currently hiring.
