Former Team GB Footballer Gemma Wiseman Found Dead

• Gemma Wiseman, a former Team GB footballer, was found dead in woodland near Norwich on December 16.
• Wiseman, who was 33, had a successful career in football, helping Britain to a third-place finish at the 2016 World Deaf Football Championships and the 2013 Deaflympics in Bulgaria.
• She leaves behind her wife, Laura, who also represented Great Britain, and their three-year-old daughter, Allie.
• A GoFundMe page set up to help pay for Wiseman's funeral has raised more than £11,000.
• An inquest into her death was opened on December 28, with a further hearing set for July 29, 2024.
