Former Teacher Pleads Guilty to Sexual Abuse of Minors

Cassidy Kraus, a 24-year-old former Iowa teacher, admitted to sexually abusing students as young as 13, facing up to 33 years in prison.

Cassidy Kraus pleaded guilty to one count of third-degree sexual abuse, two counts of lascivious acts with a child, and three counts of dissemination and exhibition of obscene materials to minors.
The abuse involved three boys between the ages of 13 and 14, occurring in 2022 and 2023.
Kraus resigned from IKM-Manning Community School in Iowa in August 2023 after the allegations surfaced.
Her husband filed for divorce shortly after the accusations came to light, less than two months after their marriage.
Kraus is scheduled to be sentenced on March 11, potentially facing a maximum of 33 years in prison.
