Former SNL Star Pete Davidson to Return as Host in Surprise Reunion

Pete Davidson will host Saturday Night Live, the sketch comedy show he left last year, to promote his new semi-autobiographical comedy series Bupkis.
Bupkis, which premieres on Peacock on May 4, is produced by Lorne Michaels, SNL's creator, and features guest stars like Joe Pesci, Edie Falco, Jon Stewart, and John Mulaney.
In interviews, Davidson has talked about finding fame on SNL difficult and awkward, but he seems to be taking the reunion in stride.
The SNL gig comes in the midst of several major projects for Davidson, including roles in the films The Suicide Squad and Transformers: Rise of the Beasts.
Though some former SNL costars like Kate McKinnon will not appear in the episode, viewers can expect Davidson's signature irreverent and absurdist comedy.
