Former Scottish leader Nicola Sturgeon arrested on political funding probe but vows innocence

Sturgeon's husband,the party's former chief executive, and its former treasurer have also been arrested as part of the investigation and released without charges.
The probe threatens to damage the reputation of Sturgeon's SNP, which has led Scotland's semi-autonomous government for over a decade.
Sturgeon said she was "innocent of any wrongdoing" after being questioned for seven hours, while Scotland's current leader declined calls to suspend her from the party during the investigation.
