Former Scorpions Drummer James Kottak Dies at 61

James Kottak, former drummer for Scorpions and Kingdom Come, died at the age of 61 in Louisville, Kentucky.
Kottak joined Scorpions in 1996 and was the longest-serving member until he was let go in 2016 due to his struggle with alcoholism.
He was also known for his time with Kingdom Come in the 1980s, and played with other bands such as KrunK, Montrose, Wild Horses, and Buster Brown.
Kottak made appearances on reality TV shows, including 'Ex-Wives of Rock' in 2012.
He was married to Tommy Lee's sister, Athena, from 1996 to 2010, and they share a son named Matthew.
