- Three men, one reportedly armed, forced Owen Ndlovu into his Ford Raptor while he was fetching his wife from a church in Katlehong on Tuesday evening, police said.
- The hijacked bakkie was later found abandoned in Walkerville and residents discovered Ndlovu’s body in Thokoza the next morning, with his wife identifying him at the mortuary.
- Family and residents reported that Ndlovu had sustained gunshot wounds and that his bag was found close to where his body was dumped.
