Former Red Sox Pitcher Eovaldi Set to Start Against Old Team Thursday

Nathan Eovaldi, now with the Texas Rangers, will face the Boston Red Sox, his former team, at Fenway Park on Thursday night.
Eovaldi expressed excitement to pitch in front of Red Sox fans again after spending 41⁄2 seasons in Boston and winning a World Series in 2018.
Though Eovaldi hoped to re-sign with the Red Sox, he ended up signing a three-year, $63 million deal with the Rangers.
Eovaldi is having an impressive season so far with a 10-3 record and a 2.64 ERA over 17 starts, putting him in contention to start the All-Star Game next week.
