Former Nice and Paris Saint-Germain coach Christophe Galtier has been acquitted of harassment and discrimination charges by a French court.
Galtier was accused of saying there were too many black and Muslim players in his squad, and encouraging Muslim players to break their fast in Ramadan during his time at Nice.
The allegations caused 'considerable damage' to Galtier, according to his attorney, who described the court's decision as a 'redemption'.
Galtier, who is now managing Qatari side Al Duhail, was absent when the verdict was announced.
If found guilty, Galtier risked a maximum sentence of three years in jail and a fine of €45,000 ($49,000).
