Anthony Pratt, one of Australia's wealthiest individuals, has alleged that former U.S. President Donald Trump shared sensitive classified information with him about military actions and nuclear capabilities, potentially exposing Trump to further charges under the Espionage Act.
Claims include a conversation wherein Trump, in 2019, informed Pratt about ordering an airstrike against Iranian-linked militants in Iraq before the news became public, and discussions about Trump's notorious phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy that led to his first impeachment.
Pratt is presently listed as a potential witness in the felony case against Trump, pursued by special counsel Jack Smith, concerning Trump's mishandling of classified documents.
Pratt allegedly spent large amounts of money on memberships at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort which led to the development of a close relationship between the two, and thereby conversations in which Trump revealed sensitive or classified details.
