Collins collided with an SUV while riding his motorcycle in Lauderdale Lakes, Florida.
The Baltimore Ravens and Seattle Seahawks, Collins' former teams, expressed condolences.
Collins played college football at the University of Arkansas.
In the NFL, Collins rushed for nearly 2,000 yards and scored 18 touchdowns over 5 seasons.
Collins also played in 2023 for the Memphis Showboats of the USFL.
