Former NFL Player Pleads Guilty to DUI Causing Death, Faces 3 to 10 Years in Prison

Henry Ruggs III pleaded guilty to driving drunk and causing a crash that killed a woman and her dog.
Ruggs was driving 156 miles per hour with a blood alcohol level twice the legal limit at the time of the crash.
Ruggs was released by the Las Vegas Raiders, his former team, the day of the crash.
Ruggs will be sentenced to between three to ten years in prison and cannot appeal the conviction.
Additional charges including reckless driving and driving under the influence causing substantial injury were dropped as part of a plea deal.
