Former NFL Linebacker Ronald Powell Dies at 32

Cause of Death Not Revealed, Powell Remembered for His Time with the Saints and University of Florida

Former NFL linebacker Ronald Powell has died at the age of 32, the cause of death has not been revealed.
Powell was a top-ranked recruit in high school and played for the University of Florida before being drafted by the New Orleans Saints in 2014.
He played in 14 games for the Saints during his rookie season, but was placed on injured reserve at the beginning of the 2015 season and subsequently released.
Powell had brief stints with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Chicago Bears and Seattle Seahawks, but did not play any games for these teams.
His death has been mourned by the NFL Players Association, his former teammates, and the University of Florida.
